The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) Charter Day program will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the LaVerne E. Ragster Administration & Conference Center on the Orville E. Kean Campus. It will be livestream to the Albert A. Sheen Campus on the University’s Facebook and YouTube pages.

The Keynote speaker is Dr. Dietra Trent, Executive Director of the White House Initiative on HBCUs.

University of the Virgin Islands alumni and retirees are invited out to special events held this weekend in their honor!


Two Alumni and Retiree Soirees will be held on March 8, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the UVI 13D Research and Strategy Center on St. Thomas and on March 9, from 4 to 6:30 pm in the UVI Medical Simulation Center on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.


UVI alumni and retirees will be treated to delicious hors d'oeuvres🥟, music🎼, good vibes and fun💃.

Join us on Saturday, July 29th for the premiere of the Youth Moviemaking Workshop film, "About Time"! How does a search for gastropods turn into a crazy adventure through time? Four kids are trapped, in what seems to be a nightmare, trying to find their way back home - in time! Program starts at 6pm at the XIIID Innovation Center (formerly West Bay Supermarket). It's free and open to the public. Let's support the hard work of these young filmmakers!
