At ONE Tech Stop Vietnam, the holiday spirit isn't just about presents under the tree, it's about giving back to our beautiful country!

This year, we're celebrating the joy of giving by playing a fun game called "Cracking the Egg"!

More than just a fun game, "Cracking the Egg"is about giving back to our planet and building team solidarity. Every virtual hammer purchase to crack the egg translates to a donation towards planting 1000 trees 🌳 in Vietnam!

Once the egg is cracked, the player can earn the egg point inside. However, the egg point shall be accumulated by the project team, not the individual.

The top egg-cracker team with the most points will win the newest 2024 ONE diary for each member of that team and 1 ONE magenta container model (1:20). But the real prize is for Mother Nature. Every egg cracked, every point earned, contributes to more trees planted in Vietnam!

Our team is still buzzing from our incredible company trip to Taiwan! 🇹🇼

We had the chance to explore the bustling streets of Taipei, indulge in the island's delicious cuisine, and immerse ourselves in its rich culture. And of course, we had a ton of laughs along the way. 🤣
Despite all the mishaps and cultural faux pas, we had an amazing time in Taiwan. It was a great opportunity to bond with our team and make memories that will last a lifetime. 😊

OTSV Hackathon 2023 - Go Green Go ONE

ONE Tech Stop Vietnam (OTSV) is excited to announce the successful completion of our Hackathon 2023, themed "Go Green Go ONE", in celebration of our 3rd anniversary!

and all other final-round selected teams for showcasing innovative and inspiring ideas, in order to take positive steps towards ONE's sustainability initiative. We are proud of the creativity and passion of our OTSV participants, and we are excited to see how their projects continue to evolve and make a positive impact on a Green world.

We would also like to thank our management and OTSV volunteers for their support in making this event a success.

🌕 Mid-autumn Festival, is also known as the “Children’s Festival” in Vietnam. Vietnamese children always imagine an amazing autumn festival with his or her own bright lanterns and a belly full of mooncakes. But there are still many kids somewhere who live in remote high mountain areas haven’t had the luck to taste a piece of mooncake.
This mid-autumn festival, ONE Tech Stop Viet Nam brought joy and happiness to the underprivileged children at Rang Chuoi Mount, which is is a remote area of Quang Nam province.
Last year, we did a meaningful charity event at Tra Leng village which is also located in this area. But this year, we decided to go further, with the belief that the more difficult to commute, the more those children there need our support. An only 4km mountain trail but took us more than 5 hours “hiking” to access the place. The trail has almost been damaged by flooding. However, the smiling & welcoming faces of the kids immediately let us know our efforts had paid off.

Apart from giving gifts and organizing a traditional mid-autumn night for the kids with folk games, and a lion dance performance, we also built a mini playground for a village school in that area. We truly believe “Play” matters for all kids. It’s a sad fact that the children in the remote areas tend to drop the school as they have to walk long and dangerous journeys to school. We hope that a playground can also help to attract the kids to go to school more.

🏸 Last weekend, 19th & 20th Aug, our ONE Tech Stop Viet Nam (OTSV) badminton team took part in the The ICT Da Nang Tournament 2023, for the second time. This event has been organized for tech companies in Da Nang (Vietnam) since 2022, with the aim to provide participants with networking opportunities as well as to promote the physical fitness and mental health of those who work in the technology sector.

There were almost 50 teams from 12 different companies participating in the event, which had 3 divisions, Boys' Doubles, Girls' Doubles and Mixed Doubles. OTSV had registered 2 teams in the Men' Doubles, 2 teams in Women' Doubles, and other 2 teams in Mixed double.

Our team paid a strong effort and it was a great chance for our staff to show their athletic abilities, especially in badminton.

📣 A special shout out to one of our Men’s Double teams for making the championship semifinal, bringing home a bronze medal 🥉.

OTSV Open Day was back last Friday ⛩ … and we had plenty of fun than ever! 🥳

With the aim to improve the work-life balance and help establish more deep and “true” interpersonal relationships, since 2022 when we moved to our new office, a day for our staff families and friends to visit our workplace has been becoming one of the most exciting events throughout the year.

In the Open Day this year, we had a chance to see a range of families, some even including three generations. And more than just an office tour, we made it full on fun by arranging a wide variety of activities for all ages, including handicraft workshops, ballon modeling, magic show, to encourage staff to spend more time with their beloved ones.

Yayyy! We are excited to “flex” that it’s 2.5 years since the 1st launching of ONE Tech Stop in Da Nang, and we have “unlocked” 2.5 floors of an office building located in the heart of Da Nang city 🥳🥳🥳
🍃Looking back at the old days when we were starting to renovate our office, the management asked us: “What kind of office do you like”…At that time, we were imagining an office that is a mixture of old and new Vietnamese styles. And tadaaaa ~~~ It’s not our imagination anymore.
We believe our office is unique. It’s unique not because it’s the first office in Da Nang owning the Framery O, the world's best-selling office phone booth, but it is something to strengthen our confidence that in OTSV, your voice does matter!

We are excited to celebrate the first-ever Sports Festival in ONE Tech Stop Vietnam from 10 - 22 Jul 2023. This celebration is expected to be an annual tradition as part of the company's initiative to create a fun working environment and camaraderie among our employees.

At the end of May, our staff from ONE Tech Stop Vietnam had a chanceto attend the Google Cloud Summit 2023 in Singapore. ONE and Google Cloud have collaborated on artificial intelligence (AI) solutions across ONE’S business since 2022.

Mr.Jbulls Kim, Enterprise Architecture Section Head from ONE Tech Stop Singapore, and Mr.Kentaro Yuasa, Deputy General Manager of Enterprise Architecture - Strategy - Innovation at ONE were invited as the featured speakers at the summit. Their speech about ONE story with the Cloud Journey in DDE (Data-Driven Enterprise) was the summit's highlight, inspiring many attendees in the event.

We took the summit as an excellent opportunity to learn about Google’s latest innovations rollouts, network with other cloud leaders, and gain insights into how to use cloud computing to solve business challenges.

A few days back, our team had a chance to spend time together for our at one of the best resorts in Asia, Laguna Lang Co. It was an unforgettable 2days-1 night of team bonding and fun in the sun and sand.🏖️
At OTSV, We truly believe “the strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team”. So instead of having an ordinary kickoff dinner, we took a break from work and enjoyed fully the journey together.

Spending more than 8 hours per day at work together, sometimes we tend to forget how we have been very excited to welcome a new lady to the team. So on women's day, the OTSV men have taken this chance to thank and recognize the women in the company by creating a small application for hand-written thank you note posting.
We believe it's really the small steps that matter and help in the bigger push for gender equality in the workplace.

But we’ve been privileged to always feel supported and uplifted at OTSV. Last Thursday , the Scrum Master Team of ONE Tech Stop Viet Nam had pleasure presenting an interactive workshop on the Agile methodology for the representatives of ONE BPIT department coming from all over the world.

The workshop was designed as a hands-on workshop in which attendees were using Agile techniques and over 10,000 Lego bricks to simulate a project start-up. We involve all the attendees in a collaborative process so they can contribute to the success of the event. This turned it into such a fun and immersive experience!!!

Yesterday, 15 Sep 2022, ONE Tech Stop Vietnam (OTSV) was delighted to welcome the students from Da Nang Google Developer Club (GDSC) to our office tour.
We spent 2, 5 hours to share the young students the work-life in a maritime tech company and how we have added the value to the IT system of our mother Group, Ocean Network Express. And together with our seniors, the students had an interesting discussion about “Big company vs Small company, which one is the good choice for new graduated students”. We beleive each student now has the ideas for their future career.

A RECAP OF OUR FY2022 KICKOFF PARTY!
2021 will be remembered as a year filled with challenges. Despite a tough year, we still have a lot to be thankful for. Together as ONE, we have done our best and achieved great accomplishments. 2021 would be behind us and a fresh start was right around the corner. No matter what more challenges are coming, we believe .

The office is the place where we spend the greatest part of our life. From Monday to Friday, from morning till evening, our days pass here among desks and colleagues, who thus become a second family to us. So in OTSV, we have an to encourage our staff bring their family or anyone they love to the office, to connect their personal relationships with the professional life.
