Aoto Yamaguchi, 16, has been playing the piano since he was 3 years old. He studied at the Yamaha Music Academy in Japan before his family moved to Vietnam in March 2019. Aoto won the grand prize at the Rising Star International Arts Festival & Competition last year and has performed in the prestigious and historical Hanoi Opera House. Aside from his love for playing the piano, Aoto loves running. He runs almost every day, often around Westlake and plans to participate in Hanoi Heritage Marathon this October.

The name “draniki" means “having been grated" in Russian due to the preparing method (The potatoes are not cut but finely grated). There are international variants of “draniki” such as Ukrainian “deruny” or “kakorki” & Polish “tartyuhy” --- When you have draniki, what do you think about? 🌺🌺🌺 Илья о «Драниках» --- Драники - это восточно-европейские оладьи, которые готовят из картофеля и подают в горячем виде со сметаной. Название «драники» означает «натертый на терке» - из-за способа приготовления (картофель не нарезанный, а измельченный на мелкой терке). Существуют разные названия «драников»: украинские «деруны» или «какорки» и польские «тартюхи». --- А вы любите драники?
