The Caffeinated Baker

This was a new one for me! I've never done a heart shape before, so this was a fun challenge!

Graduation cake! I loved the pinks and oranges - took me back to mu own high school graduation party! Pictures don't do justice to the size of this thing!

I didn't get very good pictures of this one, but thankfully I got these two! Gluten free lemon cake with almond buttercream! I love my little 🍋 lemons 🍋 in the roses!

When a book dragon gets asked to make a book cookie order for her favorite ladies at the Monroe-Walton County Library, she doesn't turn it down!!!

Get ready for a bunch of posts! I've been horrible about posting, so I'm trying to make up for it now!

Wow, this week got away from me fast! I have told myself every day since Monday that I needed to post for Mother's Day and the Monroe Farmers Market, but I just have not had a chance!

This coming week is busy with the market on May 11 and Mother's Day on May 12! I will be offering treat boxes, and I will have a load of those boxes available at the market! However, if you need yours earlier in the week, order soon! I will begin working on the various treats at the beginning of the week, so I need to know what to work on first!

All items will also be available in GF!

Treat boxes will include:
Lemon blueberry scone
Strawberry cupcake
White velvet cakesicle
Iced sugar cookie

Boxes will start at $10 with one of each treat (I will have to do a small upcharge for GF).

I will also have chocolate chip cookies, strawberry cakesicles, and lemon cupcakes available at the market!

Happy Monday! Sorry I've been quiet for a few weeks now! We are wrapping up school for the year and working outside now that the weather is nice, so I keep forgetting to post! But have no fear, I'm still around and taking orders!!

I wanted to throw out a fun little option for y'all who need a Caffeinated Baker cookie fix! Cinco de Mayo is coming up, and I won't be at the market due to soccer games, but I wanted to offer some really cute cookie boxes! I did this theme for a baby shower a year or so ago, and I thought it would be perfect! I'll have a half dozen cookies in a box - a cactus, piñata, tacos, and avocados! Please let me know via message or text (or phone call) by this weekend if you'd like a box or two, as I also have a couple big orders that weekend.

Also, be watching for Mother's Day announcements! I'll be at the market on May 11th!

While I'm working on my Easter treat menu, here's a throw back to a St. Patrick's Day box I did a couple years ago! It's not a big holiday, but it's still something fun! So this year, I'm offering St. Patrick's Day cookie kits and cupcakes! Cookie kits will be $10 for half a dozen cookies, 2 bags of buttercream, and a pack of sprinkles! The cookies are clovers and are so cute! Cupcakes are going to be chocolate with a little surprise inside!

If you are a big celebrator of the green holiday, you can always ask about a custom order like the one pictured!!

Happy New Year/January! I'm a little late to the game, but I hope everyone's year got off to a strong start! We've been so busy this holiday season (really since the first week of November!), that I have not been as "on it" as I usually am, and for that, I sincerely apologize. And I want to thank all of you who sent your love and condolences after the passing of my beautiful grandmother. Her loss has had a big impact on me and my family, but through everyone's prayers and love, we are making it through.

Now to think of sweet and happy things! I need y'all's help! What flavors do you want to see for Valentine's Day? I was thinking of the following:

One more thing! I've really been practicing my scone game! This month I tried orange ginger with an orange glaze, and both regular and gluten free turned out beautifully!! I may start offering a "flavor of the month" for scones if y'all would be interested!!
