This song is dedicated to Vangelis, a world-renowned Greek composer who passed away last year. He was known for his grand sound, by using synthesizers in an orchestral manner. He was also known for his uncompromising creative vision, and for being a lifelong antagonist to the music industry. No musician’s death touched me like his – but it was not a feeling of sadness as much as that of wonder, knowing that he became one with that which he was so enamored with – the cosmos.
