Posted • Our camps are hosted at Ashford Vale Tudo. Over the weekend, you also have full access to the Jiu Jitsu Life strengh and conditioning area within the academy.

Here you'll find a whole array of functional strength training and mobility exercise equipment for your use. Including kettlebells, maces, Bulgarian bags, tryes, sledgehammers, sand bags and much much more!

You can enjoy food with creamier sauces and it still be a healthier option.

Unfortunately in the past we ate what we were given and were grateful, now everyone has access to too much food with very little nutritional value, like it’s their right to have it…

Coming off hormonal birth control is the best thing I did… I just didn’t know it at the time. I did it because it made me a bit of a crazy (ok crazier) woman and my periods were all over the place. Like many women I had no idea of the full extent of the effect these little pills were having on me.

What if I told you you dieting and restricting food all the time wasn’t the way forward??

Posted • This one goes out to all the ladies who constantly are trying to “lose a few pounds”. And even if you have more than that to lose, maybe it’s time to shift directions if what you are doing isn’t working or constantly leaving you disappointed.

Being strong and having muscle never disappoints. It will only benefit your future. It’s never a lost cause or “nothing is happening”. You are still working towards your future body. Something is always happening when you have muscle, that’s why we make it a priority.

If everyone is telling the same thing maybe it’s time to listen?! 😘❤️SC

Posted • Love these women. Every week they show up to have me show them some moves (which I'm finding a little tough at times). I'm having to adapt what I can comfortably and safely teach. But I love every minute on the mats expanding my own jiu-jitsu knowledge and watching these women grow and improve every week! I'm so immensely proud of them all. I actually never realised how much I’d enjoy and need jiu jitsu for my mental health.

I hate confrontation and I’d never had a fight in my life! I only gave jiu jitsu a go because it’s at the gym I PT out of…and fell in love 😍 when I’m training I don’t think of anything else, all my worries and stresses disappear for that period of time. I can truly switch off.

I really believe everyone needs something that means they can turn off all the negativity in their life, be it a sport, drawing, the gym…anything!

If you were to meet me - I’ll still be the quiet person that hates confrontation 😂

This applies to Herbalife, juice plus and the rest of the charlatans that claim that some sh*t-shake will fix you. Yes you probably will lose weight, because you will be reducing calories, being aware of your intake and eating nutritious food will also do that.
