Ah, 2018 🤗 one of the many, many years I promised myself I’d promote my drive towards Neuromuscular Physical Therapy publicly but didn’t.

I did it before in 2013, only qualified for Sports Massage. No further. Decided last year to go back to college and come out with my full national qualification. I need to do this for myself.

I started NMT back in September and I will get my full qualification this time. Confidence is key but now’s the time to bite the bullet and just promote myself. “New me, who dis”?

I've one final practical exam before I can be a fully qualified Neuromuscular & Physical Therapist. If anyone is interested in a massage please let me know. I've a set up at home or I can make house calls.

Did you know? There are currently 5,000,000 touch receptors in our body. 3,000 in our fingertips alone. So a massage will quite literally make things better because touch stimulates the release of endorphins (our body's natural pain killer)!

Remember the time we had to put money into the sink to get water? Well, I don't. So what exactly is stopping us from filling up a bottle/glass of water and drinking it? Maybe it's not being promoted enough. We don't drink enough, myself included. There are so many benefits of water but nobody knows!

Water can benefit you both internally and externally. It will make your skin look good and energize your muscles. It also helps your kidneys and maintains normal bowel function.

Each time you have lunch, dinner, etc make sure to have a glass of water. It won't turn you into a Superhero overnight, but within the coming weeks you will notice a difference to your body and mind.

Have you ever asked yourself what exactly is a "knot"? People often find a knot in their shoulder/neck. They feel pain and think they can continue through the day(s) hoping it will go away itself. More often than not, the best medicine apart from rest is to manually rub this problem out of your body. Knots can take days to clear, if not weeks. With me, it may only take 10 minutes to get rid of the issue. Muscles are meant to glide with each other, they end up getting stuck and cross over, this can cause a knot.

So, I'm happy to assist you with reducing pain and increasing your blood flow to the specific area. This will stand tough to trigger points and hopefully give you less chance of seeing a repeat.

A knot can be caused by bad posture or strenuous work. Make sure to move the area so it doesn't stiffen up, loosen out that muscle and give the knot no excuse to remain. See to it that you improve your posture and to excersice your muscles. You will see improvements.

Don't be fooled by the fact this page says Sports Massage. It's for anyone. Whether you want a high tempo warm up before a match or you've had a long day at work and just need a nice massage to relax your muscles then I'll be more than happy to offer this at a great rate. There'll be no regrets with it so get booking and get relaxing!

Coming soon.. I have a price list drawn up guys, so I'm hoping to have this in place in the coming days. On the list will be both Sports Massage and General Relaxation Massage offers. Whether it's one specific area, lower/upper proximity or full body I'll be more than happy to assist.

I can either call out to you, meet you at a suitable location for any Pre, Inter & Post Sports & Event Massage or you can call to my own treatment room I have set up at my own home. Further information can be given, if needed. Keep an eye out.

A useful tip: we don't use the footpath enough. Instead of driving everywhere, especially if it's close you should encourage yourself to walk it. If you go to the shop just walk, it'll take longer but at least you're out and getting fresh air and most importantly you're walking and getting your muscles active.

You'd be surprised how much of a difference this makes. If this takes 10 minutes and you do it 3-4 times a week that's 30-40 minutes of walking in the week which is more than what you would normally do. The results would soon appear.
