STAAG Consultants leading the way at the ABRA national conference - Mar 21, 2016
STAAG Consultants Dr Berry and Dr Arawwawala were invited to lecture at the recent national meeting of ABRA - the Association of Burns and Reconstructive Anaesthetists. This group links together Anaesthetists from all over the country who have an interest in Burns and Plastic Surgery.
The St Andrew's Centre hosted the meeting which received great feedback from delegates (particularly the lunchtime 'tasting' session on brewing from local brewer Simon Tippler - who also works as an ODP at Broomfield Hospital http://www.roundtowerbrewery.co.uk).
Dr Berry talked about his experience leading teaching sessions on the burns unit using a life-like 'simulation' patient and Dr Arawwawala spoke on the use of Albumin in the Burns ICU.
