As part of the Cross Border Shared Heritage Project we all enjoyed a wonderful evening of music and song from Tom Byrne, Ann Tracey, Richard Laird and Betty Harrigan. Thank you for performing for us!

Gave a presentation to the Place-EE conference on Friday 22nd March 2019 at the Killyhevlin Hotel on the intergenerational work I completed as part of the project. Great to see so many participants from St Mary's Brollagh, St John's Dromore, St Aidan's, Derrylin and Trillick Leisure Centre. Next event is a trip to PRONI on Thursday 25th April 2019.

Last week we told you that many of Fermanagh’s Visitor Attractions are opening their doors for FREE during the first weekend in March and that includes...Enniskillen's Cole’s Monument. Completed in 1857 it was built in memory of Sir Galbraith Lowry Cole, G.C.B. On Saturday and Sunday March 2nd - 3rd, between 2pm - 4pm you can climb the 108 spiral steps to the viewing platform and enjoy stunning views of Enniskillen, and all absolutely FREE.

Talk next Monday 21/01/2019 8pm on Sir Thomas Lipton and his connections with Fermanagh and Ulster" by local professional genealogist, Frank McHugh in the Castle Park Centre, Lisnaskea (Lisnaskea Historical Society). All welcome. Frank is a man who contributes to many local organisations and is active in the Wm Carleton Society, Clogher Historical Society, Boho Heritage, Fermanagh Genealogy, to name but a few. We are delighted he has been able to fit us into his busy schedule so I hope you all support him with your presence and lots of questions on the night! I know this subject has incited much interest so see you there!

This book was launched this morning in Enniskillen Castle Museum and it will be on sale for £5 on Saturday 1st December ( this coming Saturday) in the Corn Market Yard, Lisnaskea from late morning until 4.00 pm., co-inciding with the switching on of the lights in the town. Lisnaskea Historical Society have a table at the craft fair and will certainly be selling crafts but also will cater for anyone interested in the history of this area. The Fermanagh Remembered Miscellany 2019 has articles written by local authors and covers areas all around Fermanagh, but there are articles about Lisnaskea, Maguiresbridge, Newtownbutler, Callowhill, and the borders of Fermanagh-Monaghan. Please come and support us.We love a chat too!
