Finished the Block n Block project today. It is a nick-nack that requires the use of the miter saw, jointer, planer, drill press, router, and dremel.
Some of the finished 2x4 projects. Students are given one 8 foot long 2x4 and given a chance to choose between a set of plans or find their own for this project. These projects turned out fantastic! Shoe racks, end table or stool, step stool, and trays.
Sanding and finishing is always their least favorite part. It requires a lot of attention to detail.
We have some collaboration going on.
Students are working on their block in a block project. Skills learned involve the miter saw, jointer, planer, and drill press. We had a chance to add in a little extra by learning about a dremel/rotary tool.
How N.C.'s dual enrollment program elevates students, families, and the state North Carolina is often recognized as a model for its dual enrollment program, Career and College Promise. Take a look at the impacts.
We enjoyed an awesome tour of ECU’s College of Engineering & Technology. Hoping to spark interests and show students there are a world of possibilities to choose for their future.
We saw cyber security, logistics, robotics, construction, circuit, and programming labs.
Students were able to experience a little taste of college life by eating on campus, riding the campus shuttle, and we even saw a food delivery robot.
