Today is Midlands Gives and The Palmetto Project is raising money until MIDNIGHT to support our Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program in the Midlands, where we are serving children under age 5 in Kershaw, Lexington, Newberry, Orangeburg and Richland Counties.
The books are so wonderful and children are developing a lifelong love of reading because of donors to this program. Please consider making a donation to support children and families in our community.

GREAT NEWS for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program in the Midlands!

We've received a $5,000 matching grant from a friend of the Central Carolina Community Foundation. The donor, known only as The Cheerful Giver will match up to $5,000 given to Palmetto Project through the Midlands Gives online day of giving platform.
This is our SECOND generous $5,000 donor, so donations up to $10,000 are automatically matched!

To qualify us for these matching funds, please make a donation on or before May 2nd. Our goal is to raise funds for a year of monthly books by mail for 1,000 children in the Midlands! The donation link is below, if you are able to help.

It's vitally important to get books into the homes of young children who need them, and we are doing just that for 17,000 children in South Carolina.

Dollywood Parks & Resorts today announced it will cover 100% of tuition, fees and books for any employee who chooses to pursue further education. Program to launch 2/24 for all seasonal, PT, FT employees, & they can enroll day 1 of their employment.

Thanks to The Palmetto Project's partnership with the The Dollywood Foundation and generous donors around the state, more than 15,000 children in South Carolina will be receiving these Dolly Parton Imagination Library books this month.
