Guerrilla Disc Golf Club

Kit Fox and Gila Monster DGCs, Truth or Consequences, NM. Disc golf is thriving in southwest New Mexico. T o C has a municipal golf course that is home to two 18 hole disc golf courses. The first course, Desert Fox, a red-basket course, and the second course, Gila Monster, a yellow-basket course. $2 fee to play either course, or both. One of the best places to play in the state.

Jaguar Ridge DGC, Santa Fe, NM. Located in Swan Park on the southwest side of Santa Fe, this is a fun course to play.

55 total rounds scored in 2023, and a few others left in the wind. Cover 4 states, and played 13 courses for the 1st time.

Random adventures around Tucson. Biosphere 2, Sonora Desert Museum, Tucson Loop, Old Tucson, University of AZ campus and such. I spent 5 days in Oro Valley and 5 days near the University. Fun Town, good food.

El Rio, DGC, Tucson, AZ. I finished work early, and was able to get in a round ar El Rio. I like playing these ball golf courses with golf carts, it makes it easier to get back to get another beer before continuing play. ;) $10 to play, $15 to rent a cart, and $10 tallboys all day. Great course, good times.

Santa Cruz River Park, DGC. Another day of playing under a warm and dry desert sun. Tucson is at about 2400' , just enough of a drop to straighten out a few of my shots, and more oxygen to help with the beer. lol

Loma Verde, DGC, Tucson, AZ. Nice 18 basket course along a greenbelt, next to a shopping mall. Hot, flat, and fast. All of the courses that I played in Tucson had modest crowds at best, which in my opinion, makes the game more enjoyable. Love the palm trees too.

Rillito River Park, DGC, Tucson, AZ. After Thanksgivings, I caught a 11am flight out of town to Tucson, and was able to get in 2 rounds before the sun went down. (probably wouldn't want to be on this course after dark) Lots of low ceilings and ground play. Course is located next to a section of the Tucson Loop (the bicycle trail system) The next day I rented a bike and rode 30-40 miles of trails, downtown, and surrounding neighborhoods. Good times.

Guerrilla Disc Golf Club was back in action this past weekend, as we kicked off the 2023 Season with a road trip down to the Aviary in Colorado Springs, CO. The course was in good condition, the weather was perfect, the views were nice, and the crowds were light. Patience Phil came from behind to finish with the lowest score. Thanks to all who came out. On the southwest side of Flagstaff, AZ, you will find the county fairgrounds, a campground, and Tuthill DGC.

Slide Rock State Park, AZ. An Amazing place to spend a day. A 1/2 mile of pure fun.
