Oskar's Wish
Oskar's Wish is a non profit organisation that provides youth scholarships to complete post secondary. Who are Oskar and Ange?
It was born in an effort to fulfill an older brother's wish for his younger sister: to provide education, hope, and safety. Oskar and Ange, ages 25 and 20, are siblings living on their own as Rwandan asylum seekers in South Africa. We are raising money to send them both to post-secondary. We will be paying the university or college directly, ensuring they can be enrolled in a full year of school.

All money raised will be sent to a college to pay for Ange's Nursing tuition!
Ange is 24 years old, living with Oscar in Cape Town, South Africa. Due to conflict at home, Ange experienced a lot of trauma leaving Rwanda and travelling to Cape Town.
Through hardship she was able to graduate high school in 2016 and since then has taken the necessary prerequisites for Nursing. Currently she is working as a homecare provider for an elderly woman, waiting to get into nursing. She is getting married December of this year!

Soooo happy to say that today we paid for Oscar's first year tuition fees! He waited a long time for his application to get accepted but now he is finally scheduled to start his Bachelor's of Social Sciences at Damelin College next month!!!!

Charity Fundraiser raised a grande total of $7712 ! so close to our goal of $10000 with an attendance of around 110 people and at least 20 amazing volunteers. THANKS ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!

Come ready to eat on March 19th for Oskar's wish, there will be tons of delicious food! Food from South Africa, Uganda, Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea and other delicious African cuisine will be served! While enjoying the dinner there will be performances by many great artists! All proceeds go towards Oskar and Ange's Education, Rwandan refugees living in South Africa.
