We pride ourselves on producing a Quality Assured, multi-award winning range of premium, handcrafted meat products. We use both meat from our family farm in Ayrshire and from other carefully selected sources.

If you didn’t know, we’re big advocates for sustainability. Back in 2016, we created a carbon management plan that cut our emissions by 85% in just one year! Since then, we've embraced sustainable practices like energy-efficient LEDs, a wastewater treatment system, and hybrid plug-in vans, slashing our fuel use by 66%. 👏
We've also reduced our carbon footprint by almost 110% and improved our packaging, cutting plastic use by 17%. 😮💨
Even our coos are part of our green initiatives, using repurposed cardboard for bedding. 🐄
So, this World Environment Day we’re celebrating how far we’ve come on our sustainability and are positive for future changes.

You may not have the skills to be the star baker, but you'll certainly make everyone happy with these easy square sausage and black pudding sausage rolls!✨
It's World Baking Day and we're back in the kitchen cooking up a storm, and with shop bought easy roll pastry these goodies are a breeze to make!
🔥Pre-heat your oven to 180°C (for fan-assisted ovens, 190°C for non-fan assisted or Gas Mark 4)
🥣Mix together uncooked We hae meat Steak Slice and a slice of our Skinny Black Pudding in a bowl (we find 2 Steak Slices to 1 Black Pudding works best)
🧑🍳Separate your mixture to the desired size and place on top of unrolled puff pastry, once sectioned fold over the pastry, crimping or pinching the edges
🥚Slice some air holes into the top of each sausage roll and brush with whisked egg, pop on some sesame seeds if you're feeling fancy
🔥Bake for 20 mins until golden on top (larger sausage rolls may take longer)
And voilà there you have it!

Fancy a wee Bloody Mary? Square sausage to garnish of course! 😋🍅
Any national celebration we can squeeze a square sausage into - we'll do it! And World Cocktail Day isn't any different. A Bloody Mary that's bloody delicious, plus the added snack makes for the perfect brunch cocktail.
Here's how to make it:
Ingredients:
Large handful of ice
100ml vodka
500ml tomato juice
1 tbsp lemon juice
A few shakes of Worcestershire sauce
A few shakes of hot sauce
A pinch of black pepper
To garnish:
Square sausage, cooked
Slice of toast/ or a roll if you prefer
Cornichon
Method:
Place the ice in a large jug. Measure the vodka, tomato juice, and lemon juice and pour them straight onto the ice.
Add 3 shakes of Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce (or more if you like it very spicy) and a of salt and pepper. Stir until the outside of the jug feels cold, then strain the cocktail into 2 tall glasses.
Cut the square sausage into 4 pieces, cut down toast into 4 squares, build mini sandwiches, skewer with cornichon on top, and serve alongside your delicious Bloody Mary.

Happy Stop Food Waste Day! 🍽️
This week we’ve been sharing some recipes on how to make the most of your leftovers and today we’re going for savoury square sausage scones! Delicious on their own, with a dod of butter or even cut in half and pop in more slice (sausage-ception).
Ingredients:
100g butter
4 x Square Sausage (or however many is leftover)
275g self-raising flour
½ tsp baking powder
150ml milk
50ml vegetable oil
1 egg
150g grated cheddar
Method:
1. Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Make sure your square sausages are cooked. Let it cool, then chop into chunks and set aside
2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and 1 tsp sea salt. Using your fingers, mix the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs.
3. Stir in the sausage and cheese.
4. In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, oil and egg. Tip into the dry mixture, and gently mix until the flour mixture is mostly moistened (lumps will remain). Then roll into rounds onto a lined tray or spoon the batter into a greased muffin tin.
5. Put the tray/tin in the oven and bake for 20 mins or until the tops are golden brown. Serve warm with plenty of butter.

Waste not want not!
Tomorrow is Stop Food Waste Day and we’re on a mission to combat food wastage one square sausage at a time! We’re sharing our ideas on how to use up all your slices – next up, square sausage meatballs. 🍝
Delicately spiced and delicious. Separate each square into 2 pieces, roll each into a ball, sear in the pan until cooked through, add to a rich tomato pasta sauce, and let it bubble away for 5-6 mins. Serve with your pasta of choice and there you have it! Square sausage meatballs – delicious!
Leftover slice is a rare occurrence, but it’s good to know what to do with some spare square on the odd occasion! In the lead-up to Stop Food Waste Day, we’ll show you some tasty ways to combat food waste. Today we’re adding some spice with the breakfast burrito.
The breakfast burrito is a great way to combine all your favourite scran in a wrap. Use up some extra eggs, some bacon, onions and of course some square! With a dash of hot sauce, it makes for a zingy alternative to the morning roll.
