3/1 The 21st Annual Japanese Speech Contest🌸

Thank you all for coming to the Japanese Speech Contest. We would particularly like to express our gratitude to the judges for their dedication in recognizing the impressive display of talent from everyone!

Congratulations to the winners!!
It was very moving to see how wonderful you all were in the contest, presenting in a setting much different from the usual classroom environment!

We hope that many of you who didn't get a chance this year will participate next year!

Exciting tatami installation at the Japan Center! 12/13

Japanese Calligraphy Event🌸

The students in the Japanese department worked hard on creating works for a shodo competition (夢1文字コンテスト)!! These will be mailed to Japan as submissions to the competition.

Mr. Shaughnessy gave a talk to us Chinese language students and Japanese language students. We had a great time interacting with each other after the talk. Thank you to Mr. Shaughnessy, and all the impressive students who came!
