VITAMIN B12 की कमी का कैसे पता करें ?
1. Serum Vitamin B12 Test- यह एक तरह की ब्लड की जांच होती है जिसमे ब्लड में रेड ब्लड सेल्स और Vitamin B12 की मात्रा का पता लगाया जा सकता है.

2. Antibody Test-इस टेस्ट में Intrinsic Factor के antibodies की जांच की जाती है, जिससे कि Pernicious Anaemia का निदान किया जाता है.

3. Bone marrow biopsy- इस टेस्ट में हड्डी के अंदर से मज्जा को निकाल कर Vitamin B12 की मात्रा का पता लगाया जा सकता है.

4. Schilling Test- इस जांच में शरीर में Radio-active vitamins B12 देकर Intrinsic Factor की जांच की जाती है.

क्या हैं उपचार?
दवा- Vitamin B12 की कमी पर डॉक्टर्स Vitamin B12 की गोली देते हैं.

इंजेक्शन- Vitamin B12 बेहद कमी के लिए Injection hydroxycobalamin दिया जाता है. जरूरत पड़ने इस Injection की कम ज्यादा मात्रा दी जाती है.

आहार- Vitamin B12 की कमी के चलते रोगी को अपने आहार पर विशेष ध्यान देने की जरूरत होती है. शाकाहारी व्यक्ति अपने खाने में दूध, दही जैसी चीजों का ज्यादा इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं. मासाहारी व्यक्ति अपने आहार में अंडा, चिकिन, सी फूड का इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं.
