Cops n' Bobbers
Kids Fishing Events
Out at Turkey Creek Festival at Antioch Park in Merriam. All sorts of fun events to include free fishing.
The 2022 Badges and Buds Tournament braved the windy beast Lacygne Lake today. No keepers were caught, but some bilge pumps and rainsuits were tested. Everyone made it back safe and we will take suggestions on a different lake for next year.
Thanks to SHHS Conservation and Gifted Class lead by Teacher Brett Gearhart for letting us join you for a day at Hillsdale Lake. Cops n Bobbers provided the rods and tackle and Jayhawk Marina hosted with bait, snacks, great facility. Lunch was provided by a parent and several local expert anglers assisted with fishing.
Cops n Bobbers is at the Olathe Kids Fishing Derby until 12:30pm. Or you can join us at the Edgerton Summer Block Party at 6pm for some competition casting and maybe win some cool prizes. Many other things to do besides casting at the party.
Mildale Park, Edgerton Kansas 10/31/20
We managed to hold our first event this year, the Gardner Fishing Derby with over 70 kids this Saturday. Besides the Kids, some fish showed up to get caught. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors every kid got a new rod and reel, plus trophies and medals for winners and participants. In addition, tackle, lunch, and bait made the event a complete full service couple hours of fishing.
We are back to conducting events in a limited capacity. Visits www.copsnbobbers.com for detail.
We have suspended most spring events until we get through the Covid-19, so make sure you check with us before attending. However, that does not keep you from fishing. Good Luck and see you soon.

Coming up in 2019 is Timber Ridge on April 27th. The Timber Ridge Facility just south of Desoto, Kansas is open to the public with many fun things to do. We will be there with bait and fishing rods to use for the many waterways. However if your not up to the challenge of fishing you can scale their climbing wall, hike, target practice, and a host of other fun outdoor stuff.
For all of you planning on the tournament you will have to wait a couple weeks to take our money. The forecast of 30's and high winds caused us to move the date to the 28th. So now that we did that enjoy the 60's and calm Saturday.
