New Page 2 Gear Fab Records is an Independent Label located in Orlando, Florida. It is dedicated to releasing LEGITIMATE & AUTHORIZED 1960's Psychedelic/Garage/Rock Sounds from the period 1965-1972.
My good friend confident sixties researcher extraordinaire Max Waller passed away peacefully this morning. I have known Max since 1997 when I started gear fab records. He was THE major contributor to 27 compilations ( Psychedelic Crown Jewels and Psychedelic States) we reissued over that time literally involving thousands of obscured and unknown bands from the 1960s. He was tenacious in his research and his love for this music was unparalleled. He never sought compensation for his efforts, just the peace of mind that the music got out there. He was a humble, caring and modest man and I am proud to have known him. Max, you're on that stairway to heaven now. Rest in peace my friend.
