Very proud to give a talk on our Milltown/Castlemaine Gaa Clubs GAA 4 ALL Group this evening ππ€
Our little group will shortly be going into its fourth year thanks to the volunteerism of our coaches and the participation of our amazing players ππ€
Our main aim is to provide a platform to play football and have fun for children in our district with additional needs ππ€
This evening we got the opportunity to share our journey with other clubs and were delighted to meet with great people from St. Senans GAA and more ππ€

Milltown/Castlemaine GAA 4 ALL 2023 end of year party π ππ€
What a wonderful day we had yesterday on β€οΈNATIONAL INCLUSION DAY β€οΈ to our end of year party and a huge thank you to everyone involved throughout the year ππ€
We celebrated with party food courtesy of our clubs generous sponsor the amazing Alma's Take-Away, Milltown, Co Kerry, we had a medal ceremony with each player presented with their medals by our clubs senior footballers Donal Dennehy and Donal Kelliher who we are very thankful to and to Jerome Flynn another of our senior player who collects our medals every year for us πππ€
We also had a pass the parcel game in told it was very in keeping with the retro theme of my 80s music π€£π€£ and the sensory themed prizes were donated by our amazing coach Lorraine Wall, Beauty Benefits ππ€π It was also a double celebration as we sang happy birthday π to our player Leah on her 14th birthday π₯³
A huge thank you to our coaches through the year Gillian, Norma, Lorraine, Bronagh, Claire F, Claire M, Saoirse, Abbie, Trish, Stephanie, Rosanne and Danny along with Conor who joined us later in the year and was a big hit in goals with the players πππ€
We had 18 coaches complete the Disability Awareness course durning the summer, thank you to all for attending and to Kevin Smith of Active Disability Ireland for facilitating the course and being a great assistance to us throughout our 3 years. Kevin has recently set up Crokes for all @ Dr. Crokes GAA please check out the amazing work also going on with their group as well as GAA 4 ALL groups Ballymacelligott G.A.A and Austin Stacks the network of GAA 4 ALL groups in the county is growing which is fantastic to see. We hope to meet ye all in 2024 β€οΈπ
Thank you to all of our amazing junior coaches too so many to mention, thank you all so much your encouragement and enthusiasm thoughout the year meant so much to us coaches and the players. Two of those coaches Ciara and Saoirse did a great job painting nails yesterday also ππ€ππ
A big thank you also to Stephanie our inclusion offier who has been working hard behind the scenes on securing the funding and infrastructure for our group to process along with the rest of our clubs Exec. A sincere thank you to everyone ππ€π

Today our club celebrates the end of our GAA 4 All groups 3rd year and what better day to do so than ππ€
Today we will be having our end of year party and handing out medals to our fantastic GAA 4 ALL players ππ€π
We are so proud of our players progress throughout the year and look forward to an even better year in 2024. If you know of any child in the area with additional needs aged 5 or over please ask them to contact us if they would like to join up in the new year β€οΈβ€οΈπ

Crokes for All starts on Saturday 23rd September from 9:15-10am. This give children with additional needs between the ages of 7 and 12 the opportunity to play in a safe and enjoyable environment. Contact Kevin on 087 6543005 for more information or to register!

This year we have introduced a match at the end of each training session with some nice skills work and fun game thrown in as always β€οΈπ€©π
Our players are having lots of fun and going from strength to strength and most importantly canβt wait to come to football training every week ππ€
