Strive was proud to be a sponsor of the inaugural PTSD Forum held on 11 and 12 September 2015 at the Brisbane Entertainment and Convention Centre. We are honoured to work alongside and help to support our service men and women and first respondents and work together to raise awareness of PTSD in the workforce and wider community. There were some terrific international and local speakers focusing on research, prevalence of PTSD, directions for clinical and how some very moving and powerful stories from individuals with a lived experience. The highlight of the forum was a talk titled 'TWICE SHOT - Through the lens of a PTS Survivor' from Sergeant Daryl Green of the Queensland Police Service who highlighted the challenges of dealing PTS and the key lessons that it has taught him.
