THORNGUMBALD SCARECROWS 2024

We are holding a car boot alongside our village show, Sunday 7th July.

Thorngumbald Village Hall car park 11am-3pm

£10 donation per car

We have limited space and already have bookings so get in there quick!! 😊

If you wish to book a place either message or email [email protected] (cars only please no vans)... bookings will be confirmed when payment has been received.

SCARECROWS ARE BACK!! 2024!!

This year's event will be Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July!!

The ever popular Scarecrow Trail will be running the full weekend, with our Scarecrow Fair held on the Saturday at Thorngumald Village Hall.... This year we are bringing back the tradition of the Village Show on the Sunday...competitions for home grown produce, crafts, cakes for all age groups....so get growing, crafting and baking to see if you can win 'Best In Show!'.

Entry forms for Scarecrows and Village Show items will be in the local shops soon!

We will also have a car boot sale in the car park , we will have limited space for cars so if you are interested in holding a car boot stall please register your interest early.

Further details for all events will follow....so get ready to bring the community together with our wonderful Scarecrows!!!!

Also, please leave toys etc at home to avoid them getting lost /broken (some are also a choking hazard to our smaller children).

Come and see us today at the Village Hall for our Annual Christmas Fair 11am-3pm.
Lots of stalls, refreshments and pop in to see Santa in his grotto.
Christmas letter hunt around the village.. find the letters to make a word - maps available from local shops and the village hall £1 per map...bring your completed word to the village hall and a lucky boy or girl will win a prize (running through until 22nd December when the winner will be drawn!)

We are on the hunt for a Christmas tree for Santa's Grotto....about 3ft. If anyone could lend or donate us one for Saturday 2nd December we would be so grateful 🙏

As the weather looks like we're into Autumn, please provide your child with Wellington boots (named) so we can continue to use the garden area for learning fun 😀 thank you

As a non-profit charity run preschool the staff work tirelessly to raise funds and grants to continue to enhance our learning environment. Every bit of the money raised goes to our wonderful children. Through the summer we have made a start on revamping our garden area with a beautiful new summer house, sandpit and woodland camp! Still more to do but we can't wait for the children to explore and have fun!!!!
