The Ethan Allen Biathlon Club is an organization dedicated promoting the sport of biathlon for all ages.
In addition, our coaches are dedicated to the development and success of young athletes in the sport of biathlon on the local, national and international stage. With a world-class facility that is one of the best in the country situated right here in the Green Mountains of Vermont, we have a unique opportunity for attracting and training local athletes.

Welcome home to our Junior athletes, back from selection trials at Mt. Itasca in Minnesota! Congratulations to Virginia Cobb selected to go to the Youth World Championships, Junior Open European Championships and Junior IBU Cup and to Evelyn Hudrik who has been named to the Junior IBU Cup team. Also to Taylor Carlson, Paige Fieldhouse, Pat Frazier and Theo Castonguay for gaining important experience, and in particular Taylor and Paige for hitting 9/10 shots in crucial trials races. Finally a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU to the Organizing Committee for fighting terrible weather conditions, making and trucking in snow, and standing on their heads to put on a great set of races when Mother Nature was not in a cooperative mood.

Keep your eyes peeled for EABC Club Director John Madigan at this week's World Cup in Oberhof. John is supporting the team setting up change rooms, the wax truck, ferrying athletes around and helping out during training. All of which he describes of course as "trying to stay out of the way"!
Training tonight (12/28) has been cancelled due to conditions.

Sorry folks, after getting rained out last week we're looking at today's weather and are sad to say we have to cancel again today. We will run this route next week for the series finale!
We were a little nervous going into Saturday morning knowing that 80 racers aged 13 to 69 would have to share 56 positions on the rifle racks, but we came up with a plan and set it in motion. Many thanks to the disciplined racers for executing their transitions skillfully with safety and fair play at the front of their minds, and to their coaches for teaching them those skills and values! A great job all around.
