What’s nice and not-so-nice in owning a frenchie - a guide for newbies from another newbie:

Nice
- super cute
- funny, crazy, playful
- cuddly
- loyal
- easy to teach (tricks)
- don’t bark as much
- don’t shed as much
- they love humans (great for kids)
- ideal size for indoor pets

Not-so-nice
- not cheap and could be expensive to maintain
- sensitive stomach (perennial bouts with diarrhea)
- love food
- ironically, they chew on almost anything
- could have a big appetite
- fart a lot
- could be stubborn at times (don’t know how to use their ears sometimes)
- not so easy to toilet train; eat p**p and p*e everywhere
- go with any other humans (as in anybody)
- overheat relatively faster

If you can take the not-so-nice with the nice stuff, then go ahead and get one! As they say in French: J***r! 🐾🐾🐾
