This made my morning. 😊

She can still remember how she and her guests enjoyed the chocolate cake i made for his son a few years ago. Now, she wants me to do a cake for her daughter's first birthday but unfortunately I'm not available on the date of her party. 😞

So she'll be ordering a cake before she and her family goes back to Japan. 👏

I was never a fan of white chocolates because i found them too sweet that i barely taste the milk flavor BUT Whittaker's made me like them for the first time.

Whittaker's white chocolate is so creamy & milky that it melts in your mouth. Its not too sweet & their is a hint of vanilla too.

This chocolate will be launched in my new cookie flavor next week! 🎉

Arla butter has been out of stock for the past few weeks 😢

So I had to look for another butter to use and this time I'll be switching back to a local one since they are always available in the market.

A blind test between Magnolia Gold, which I used before & Queensland which a friend recommended.

Maybe Magnolia changed something in their recipe. It was a little bland, not as tasteful as before. Queensland on the other hand gave my cookies a delectable buttery taste. 👌

My mom also said that Queensland (but in the red can) is the only butter they used back in the old days.

So Queensland, welcome to Sweet Vie! 👏

Welcome Arla Butter to Sweet Vie!

Arla is the fifth largest dairy company and also the biggest organic dairy company in the world.

It is also the producer of Lurpak Butter.

Arla takes serious measures to keep the quality at its highest. They employ butter tasters to taste the product every 20 minutes during production.

Arla won me with its buttery and slight cheesy taste and of course the affordable price. 👌

There is a new butter in town... ARLA, also a European butter. Just like Elle & Vire, it also has 82% fat.

Taste Test: Elle & Vire vs Arla

Both butters were light & had creamy, yummy, buttery taste.

I don't know if it its just me but when the Arla butter melted in my tongue, it had a slight cheesy flavor and I liked it. I'm a cheese addict btw. =)

Also, Arla is almost 30% cheaper than Elle & Vire.

i noticed that the taste of this butter is not as good as before anymore. hmmm... i think i'll have to find a new one.

Queensland (a local one) which i find tasty even as spread in pandesal or will i go back to Elle & Vire but i find my desserts a little greasy.

We use premium ingredients to ensure quality & good taste.

Since my supplier doesn't always have on stock the current French butter that I am using, I'll be switching to another brand.

MAGNOLIA GOLD BUTTER

A local brand but still gives my desserts that luscious & buttery flavor.

In line with this change, our prices will decrease due to the price difference between the 2 butters. Our transportation expenses will also be reduced since the Magnolia butter is always available in a grocery near our house.

We are still using imported & high quality chocolates like Whittaker's, Hershey's, Bensdorp France.
