To realise the constitutional mandate of rendering legal aid to every person in need is the core of the purposive existence of this centre. To Develop a state wide network of institutions and academia. To Organize a nation level experience sharing platform-cum-seminar on legal aid. It will help us to inculcate new methods and identifying diverged areas for rendering legal aid. National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi is organising its maiden edition of national legal aid fest on the 2nd and 3rd May 2015. It is NUSRL’s Centre for Legal Aid Programme’s (CLAP) maiden venture to organise, this, one of its kind event in the country. The event purports to give all educational institutions, NGOs and other organisations that are doing work in the arena of legal aid an opportunity to interact, share their experience, adopt and learn each other’s practices.
