Highly recommend an online math tutoring program called "Mathelf". Students from elementary through college can access it through their tablet or phone and get instant access to a real live tutor and a shared whiteboard. The student and tutor are able to speak to one another and students can upload photos of their problems to the whiteboard.. The first 30 minutes is free. Students can be on math elf for as little as a few minutes or up to as long as they need. The cost is 50 cents a minute, which is $30 an hour. Many programs such as Varsity Tutors and WyzAnt charge a lot more than that and you have to meet for a full 60 to 90 minutes minimum. I will be teaching math to home schooled students on Tuesdays and Thursdays this year, and on Friday afternoons. I can teach one on one or as a small group. I find this one is amazingly the most important one, as students who do not have their basic facts memorized struggle in math all the way through high school and beyond. Knowing your basic math facts is just as important as knowing the alphabet and their sounds is to reading.

The dates for these sessions are: Feb. 16th and 17th with the following times: 10 AM to 10:30 AM, 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, 1 PM to 1:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 2 PM.
