This is a public safety crisis. We pay the highest taxes in Seminole County yet choose not to pay our police officers what they are worth.

A beautiful ballpark and a great way to honor our first responders. This ballpark was one of my favorite places to coach. Kudos to Sanford Parks & Recreation and Seminole County Sheriff's Office.

Read past the headline. This is a great move. Developers getting tax breaks and keeping the savings for the themselves. Why does Tallahassee want that? The Live Local Act is an excuse for the Legislature to take away our ability to govern ourselves.

“It’s helping developers and apartment owners make more money. But it’s not doing anything for the renters and those struggling to pay their rent,” Commissioner Lee Constantine said regarding the property tax exemptions — as high as 75% — under the state’s so-called Live Local Act.

I’ve arrived!! A fake smear campaign!!! This is what they do when you’re a threat.

This is a common tactic when opposing campaigns are losing. I have a plan — they have a scheme. I have grassroots support — they have special interests. I’m working hard and serving — they are maneuvering behind the scenes trying to fool voters.

Why does a PAC in Tallahassee have an issue with me? That’s the real question.

Why does Sanford’s city tax rate double that of 4 other cities in Seminole County? And why is Sanford’s tax rate 33% higher than the next closest city?

What is Sanford doing differently that requires such higher taxes? Interested in your thoughts?

Regardless of where you are on the political spectrum, the President’s remarks were spot on. There is no place for political violence and now is the time to unite as a nation and community.

Exercise your right to vote - many folks have sacrificed a lot for us to have that right.

Had a couple of great meetings with Sanford FOP 140, the union that represents the Sanford Police Department and Sanford Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 3996, representing Sanford Fire Department. I’ve been in the trenches with them shoulder to shoulder and have a deep understanding of what they go through and what the they need to do the job safely and effectively and serving citizens in the best manner.

Other candidates will tell you they support public safety, but have they done the job, have they made the sacrifices, and do they really understand what it takes?

Why is Tallahassee interfering with our right to govern ourselves locally? Beware of any local candidate backed by anyone in Tallahassee who would seek to limit the City of Sanford to govern itself as its citizens see fit.

Had a great time checking out the Freedom Festival and Military Appreciation this weekend in Daytona. Grateful for the men and women that keep us safe, both here and abroad.

As a career military officer and deputy sheriff I know what these folks go through and I will support them every way I can.

13 million gallons of raw sewage spilled into Lake Monroe earlier this year. That’s enough to fill a football field 40 feet deep. We can do better. Protecting our water and natural resources will be a top priority for me.
