HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Yes I know... I am so very late, and I feel bad about this, but I have been so poorly! I'm not one to moan, but after returning from a super Caribbean cruise in the 12th of Dec (teaching workshops!!) I have had Oedema in my right leg caused by a vein I had removed a few months ago and I've been in absolute agony for 4 weeks! 3 visits to A & E scanning for blood clots meant in ruined Christmas and New Year but finally yesterday it started to feel better! YEAH... so no more moaning, and I'm ready to face 2024 with lots of new ideas, workshops and creative energy!

This is the first of 2 powertex workshops I’ll be teaching at essential crafts in Washington. The first is this coming Tuesday at 10.30 and the follow up class exactly 2 weeks later once this stagff Ed has dried thoroughly. On this rainy Sunday I thought I’d share one of my most recent creations… I loved making her. The theme was Fabulous Fungi!

POWERTEX workshop to create this stunning deep canvas mixed media picture for your home. This workshop will be held at ESSENTIAL CRAFTS STORE in WASHINGTON, Tyne & Wear on Tuesday 28th March at 10.30 till 1.30pm.
Everything is supplied as well as light refreshments, as well as easy step by step instructions, so everyone gets a great result to be proud of!
Cost is £33 which includes the 1" deep quality canvas frame which does not need framing.
Booking is essential so please call ELLEN on 0191 447 1919 to book your place, or pop into the craft shop and see the item on display you are going to create and book while you are there.

You'll create the Wizard Hat from Scratch, and follow step by step instructions to create your own unique item, using bronze Powertex.

Goofy reindeer - all ready for Christmas.

Due to its popularity, I have fitted in one more workshop to create these Goofy Light up Reindeers. Lots of fun to create... The workshop will be held on Sunday December 4th from 10am - 4.30pm. All supplies will be provided and tea, coffee and cake to keep you going!
