Iona Preparatory School Jamaica

The schools of Iona were founded by the late Reverend Herbert Swaby and his wife. The Iona prep school accepts children from 3 years old through 12 years.

We accept children of all gender. The school is situated on the same property as the Iona High School. In 1961 the Swabys were called to new development work in the Tower Isle area. The Iona High and Prep began started.The school started with boarding facilities and was private own by the Immanuel Church, which Dr Swaby was minister of at one point. Until this day this Church is seen as the School's church. Most of our functions are usually held there.
