Keeping our little ones occupied while at home.
Your child or children is at home and it seems that you don't have enough energy to keep up. Try to create a simple daily routine that almost mirrors school. Remember !..... ensure that your child or children are safe and comfortable.
Here are 4 simple tasks to try .
1. Have a chat. This helps to build confidence in expressing their thoughts and vocabulary building.
2. Read a story. Your child or children needs to develop a love for reading and listening prior to entering primary school.
3. Sing songs and rhymes. Most 3 and 4 year olds love to sing and clap. Let them sing their favourites songs and rhymes from school.
4. Counting. They can count and group stuff found in the house, eg: clothes pins ..socks.
Have a great day!
Continue to be safe.
