Invite to parents – Curriculum Rationale Focus Group
One of our School improvement priorities, this year, has been looking at our Curriculum rationale – what our purpose is.
We feel that the Rationale we have which was created 7 years ago, now no longer fully reflects what we want for our children when they leave us after their 7 years. As with our school values last year, we are looking to refresh the rationale.
We have discussed this with staff and with our P7 children who have given us some good ideas.
We would like, now, to consult with parents so that when we come back in August we can begin to create our new curriculum rationale in pictorial form, ready to be reintroduced and rolled out to the whole school community, hopefully early in the new session.
If you would be interested in taking part in this group, we would like to invite you to the focus group which will be held on Thursday 27th June at 1.45pm – 3pm, here in the school. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. If you can manage along, please leave a message at the school office.
Kindest regards
Mrs Canny

This bag was left at the park tonight by a Bannockburn Pupil. There is no name on it so will hand it into school tomorrow.
One of the P7s lost a jacket very similar to this one on Wednesday. It was put on the handrail outside the schools main entrance but not seen since. If someone has picked it up by mistake could they please return it to the school. Thank you.
