Kerry's hidden gems and history

IF YOUR INTO OLD FABLES AND SUCH .....
Back in the day it was said that when God created the world ..wanted to seperate his creation in to different locations . To see how each would develope. So he walked around dropping what he carried . On his back and in his pockets .in the form of soil and rocks . at first he had lots to deposit . So he placed large mounds in one or two different spots .creating land and mountains . Over large continents .. .to the East to the West . The North and South . Some in warm places some in cold some high some low .. after many years of making each different mounds of land . He stopped .sat and thought over what he had done . And decided this was enfough .. as he rose to his feet . He realised he had a little left in his breast pocket .. not much but enfough to make a small isle ... hence why Ireland was the last land created .. not because it was less important than all previously created. but it's where he desided to sit down and oversee what he had done .. he thought to himself ... yes that will do .. as he rose to his feet emptied his pocket starting at the north and working his way down .. to the south .. just as he finished. He desided to put the last fist full from his pocket in the one place .. this would become the mountains surrounding the last Kingdom.. The Kingdom of Kerry .. and it must be true because it was told to my by my grand uncle who was a very religious man . And he wouldn't lie to me 😇
