Just some new small works signed and completed as I clean up the studio, very excited with new projects here in Norway as well as painting and drawing some. Seems my Norwegian friends are coming into light, digging this absolutely…

Floating in a Norwegian atmosphere beyond local aesthetics and myself, being completely indifferent to everything else as I float like a small boat on an open ocean waiting to swallow me… I can only wish for a sea of glass… to sit naked within myself seeing beyond the chaos above my head…

“Levitating Lightning Bolt Bank”

Well, met some new friends at Sapphire Beach, did some eating, drinking, laughing, and hanging out together. Special people doing special stuff…

They leave today, back to Austin, then Spain,
The world Is getting smaller… sure is.

Finally finishing off a proto-type sculpture for long-time friend Steve, he’s been collecting my work on and off over the years… And since he is helping me with my hip replacement recovery, and dealing with my mood swings as I try to eliminate the limp, working in the studio is a great exercise.

This piece is called “The Lightning Both Bank”. The levitating pyramid has slots where the lLghtning Bolts park themselves into, thus the lightning bolt bank… about 1998. Got chipped here and there over the moving years, nice to see one of them find a home...

Got some left if any of you art lovers need a reminder of saving for a rainy day, or would love to give one (possibly as a birthday gift?) to a relative or fellow art lover, the holidays are around the corner...
