Braeden competed in the ADCC comp this past weekend and got to compete against a great competitor! He walked away with silver! Well done champ!

So this happened last night at our BJJ grading!! It was a family affair: Braeden was awarded his Grey Belt!! Conner received three white stripes!! And Dad received two white stripes!! Well done to my boys!

We are finally in Comp week! This weekend will be the start of the AJP international pro in Johannesburg. There will also be a ranking system:

This event is fully sanctioned by Martial Arts South Africa (MASA) and the Jiu-Jitsu and Grappling Association of South Africa (JJGASA) . Ranking points will be allocated to athletes for both (AJP) and (JJGASA) Gi divisions for season 2020 .

Tonight was a big milestone for Braeden, he was privlaged to roll with some very experienced adults in the BJJ group!! The highlight of his night was being graded by Prof Saul to his grey/white belt. Well done my Boy your hard work and time on the mats have paid off!! We are so proud of you.

Braeden has been apart of the junior Vikings for 1year and 3months age group (5yrs to 8yrs).... Within this time period he has always been eager to learn and grow as an athlete, but the time has come to take on new challenges! As of the 4th Nov he was asked to join the senior Vikings class (9yrs to 13yrs)what an amazing accomplishment to be training with the senior team at the tender age of 6!! You can be so proud 🥋🥊
