Mindfulness is a tool that you carry with you and can be readily available when you need it most.
We all experience some degree of distress—we may not experience the same intensity or the same storyline, but we share a similar process.

What activity do you do that you would like to bring mindfulness to it?
I love running outside and I don’t have much time in 24 hours to do everything that I like. I like to find strategies to mix and match! Fortunately, it is very simple to add many mindfulness practices to almost any daily activities.

In this exercise, I invite you to select a visual sensory experience and to focus on it for a set time, from 1 minute to as long as you want!
Whenever you’re distracted by other sensory experiences such as sounds, feelings, thoughts, bring back your focus on the visual object you chose.
The longer you do this for, the more likely you are to be distracted. This is all good. You’re training your concentration muscle while constantly bringing back your focus.

Eat with your mouth 👄! In this mindful eating exercise, I invite you to only pay attention to the texture and temperature of food that you feel inside your mouth! Let me know what is your experience!
Forget about practicing while eating! Here’s my best tip! When you think: “I keep forgetting”, that’s your cue! Just start a mindfulness exercise on a dime, at that moment. If you’re not eating, choose a Mindfulness practice of your choice!
Eat with your tongue 👅👅👅! Try to only pay attention to what you taste whether it’s subtle, strong, appearing or disappearing in your sensory experience! Let me know how that goes!
Mindful washing the dishes 🍽! Here is one exercise that will increase both your mindfulness skills and the cleanliness of the work! Bring all your focus on what you see.
