But with the wonderful help of the neighborhood chipmunks I have forgotten what is growing. Once everything is in bloom I can narrow it down but I'm almost certain it's Santa Clause. Either way no worries bc I'll still love it ❤️

One thing I missed the most about our trees being cut down was the shade (the other, the wildlife). I've been patiently waiting for this bad boy to go up. Got some rearranging to do and a pool to refill. I'm so excited to see how this all ends up 🤗

Glen is a part of a 3 year UW autism/ adhd study. He absolutely loves it at the Waismann center. The whole team is so fun with him. We might get to do a sleep over with our friends. (Sleep study mri) they all just love him there so much.
I could talk to the director lady for hours, it's all so interesting!

Once upon a time we took a huge (one and only) family vacation to Florida. I was probably about 19 so my lil brother was 15 (I remember bc he hid his house tattoo from our folks... on a beach lol)

Anyways.... kinda forgot about this gem until Goober sent it to me. Good times good times. The End.

Please ignore I need to w**d. I really should have taken a picture when it wasn't eaten down. I am so bummed. My largest sunflower. Ugh. I don't know if it's a branching one so I'll let it keep growing but if it's a single I won't be getting a sunflower head. Small petty thing to b**h about I know but it meant a lot to me.

Glad to know that deer was saved from the brink of starvation by eating 5 leaves.

Day 2 vs day 1

I'm excited bc this is just the beginning but sad bc tit goes too fast. You grow this flower from something so tiny. Months of baby-ing and watching light, humidity, temperature. Then when it comes to fruit; it's unfair it doesn't last longer.

Once we get the rest of the bricks I'll be able to level and add soil.

I'm definitely feeling it though. Wednesday can't come fast enough haha

Cute/weird/funny story- so my dad built trailers and somehow ended up with pallets of bricks. When we were little my sibs and I would go play kingdom or house or whatever lol we would build thrones, chairs and other brick furniture. Royally upset my dad. Yes, we did drop them on our toes. No I never learned.
Anyways we got some of the same 3 hole brick and it's super nostalgic!

Got half of a load, going back for the other half later this week. Starting a project (or two). Finally will have the perfect place for our butterfly bush! Kept telling him best bday present ever lol. So if anyone is wondering, bags of garden soil gladly being accepted ;)

It's not perfect, been a hot minute since I've done my hair up. No make up. Not pretty. Almost 40. But I feel so "normal" in my skin at this moment. Sometimes it really is the little things. or bust!

I just could not get decent pics of any of my flowers. I was blessed with this sweet bouquet from my girl Mere. Yesterday Glen put of the blue gave her middle kiddo a flower and asked to marry them. Our hearts just about exploded it was top stinking cute!

Attempting lilac cuttings but I hear it's super hard and I'm, like, super good at killing things. So I guess wish me luck! The house smells soooo good though so if anything I still count it as a win!

I've wanted one of these designer petunias for like 3 or 4 years now. But always too far out of my price range and too popular to last until they go on sale.
Finally got a cutting from someone so I'm trying to root it. Wish me luck!

Got both the boys this weekend and utilized a nice cool pool on a really hot day!

I really just love my kids. Y'all don't even know how amazing these two nuggets are. Frank is pretty great with his little brother. I really lucked out. He's a good kid.
