UPDATE ON DOUGLAS MASIKONDE CAMPAIGNS TEAM.

Dear friends & family, my esteemed colleagues, political spheres, ladies & gentlemen. I regard this opportunity highly and prestigious to say thank you to you all for your continued support and prayers during the entire campaigns period.

I have knocked your doors countless times seeking your attention on issues that affect us and our community, for moral hold and sometimes (most importantly) to share a cup of tea guised as strings that hold our spirits together.

The campaign period has not been nothing bigger than our everyday life. I have been raised and guided to walk the journey with people, be closer to them and be a solution to their challenges on daily occurrences.

I hereby state categorically, this entire time has had it's share of problems, entanglements, demoralization et cetera. Throughout, I have kept my eyes on the prize: the prize it will cost to liberate our people from poverty, desease, hopelessness and map their minds on hope, success and inspiration.

My dream has been pinned on the unending quest to liberate our municipal town from cartelism, terrible economic practices, voiceless of the populace and the need to breathe life to the newly birthed municipal status. I understand the dynamics of the town much better than my competitors owing to the fact that I was on the receiving end while working as a mechanic for almost half my life. I have interacted with hunger, being send home to collect fees, harassment by revenue collectors, high-end CEES fees on businesses and much more gruesome stuff.

My experience at the informal sector is therefore my competitive abilities and the wits that rains from deep within while it entails wisdom and command.

I am testimony that a small boy can wash his hands and dine with kings. I am testimony that you may not have a single car but have a fleet of cars on the road without knowledge of who fuels them, service their engines or even pays their drivers. I have posters everywhere on power poles, on walls of buildings, inside houses/offices that I have not cashed out for.

I have come to understand thr true meaning of friendship on the campaign trails. I have known your beautiful hearts better during this time of need.
During this times I have known that humans were meant for each other and not against each other.

I have known that lions are powerful because they walk in prides. I have known that girraffes get their food better by bending the trees rather than destroy their whole existence. The acacia will bend a thousand times to feed the animals but dies on a single bag of charcoal.

All this words are a summary to Say Thank You for your support. Thank you for making me the person I'm today. Thank you for building my heart on stone.

Lastly, we have reached the last mile of the elections. With exactly One Week to the polls I hereby cast upon you a high calling to Turn Out and VOTE. Your vote will spread hope to a kid at tht primary school wondering how they will settle the fees, your vote will ensure a peaceful coexistence of the flowery communities living in Narok Town.

By casting your ballot to Douglas Masikonde you are inspiring youths like me to believe in their strengths and the power of their dreams that everything is possible! That a boy from the informal sector can rise up and lead, that a Youth from majengo area can be mentioned on decision making tables. That a motorbike artisan can one day lead wittily and respectfully.

I believe in you to power this dream by casting your vote to me. The time to eat has elaspe, this is the true time that I need to feel your support prayers and moral uplift.
This is a special case in my life where I ask you to stand by me just like I have stood for the downtrodden in our society.

I believed in you, Believe I will deliver.
