Sometimes when I find wood things in stores I buy them even if I don’t know what to do with them yet.

This 17”x5” live edge tray with 1 inch ball feet is one of those things. I’ve been looking at it on the shelf for over two years not sure what I wanted it to be. The tag on it was for “Christmas” and it was stained a dark brown.

I stripped it down, burned this fun, new, plant lover design into it and am giving it a new life as a tray for a couple of small potted plants or as a large tray for a vanity!

I just love the colors that are coming through after stripping away the stain!
