I just woke up one day and you had gone from being a miniature grown up to being taller and sometimes wiser than me. It was too fast. I want to do it all again! I am lucky to be your Mom! I love you!

Guess what? We have a new fur baby! Please meet our tiny angel, Rosie! She is 3 months old and had our hearts from the moment we saw her. Even Callie is now a fan & so happy to have a playmate again. 💖🐾

Tough day! Saying goodbye to an extraordinary school and so many people we 💚! So proud of these girls and their straight “A” Honor Roll for the year! Even more grateful and emotional in this moment amidst the tragedy in Texas. We are praying for the families there who are broken and suffering.

Being a “Volunteer Princess” is a special, once in a lifetime experience! Being paired with a state titleholder as a “big sister” for the week is so fun for the girls! Ava was paired with and ! It’s official: my Mom is the SHORTEST in the fam. Love watching my nephew aka “Diesel” crush a baseball! We had to get that 3rd grader home in time to shave his 5 o’clock shadow. 😜😂🧔🏻‍♂️

This week I lost my first ever fur baby: Isabella “Izzy” Otto.
For almost 16 years, we were inseparable. She went almost everywhere with me and at home she never left my side. She just finished nursing me through the flu, and the day after I took this photo we left for Spring Break. She began a rapid decline and was gone in less than two days. I never dreamed she wouldn’t return home with us. She had fast growing cancer that showed up and took her life in less than 2 weeks with tumors on multiple organs. By the time we knew, I couldn’t save her. My heart is broken and I’m lost without her, but I am so grateful to God that this intelligent, loving and fiercely loyal 5 pound baby (who thought she was a German Shepard) was mine to love. I will miss her every day. ❤️🐾
