Huge shout out to for taking on the difficult task of collecting and managing donations for Turkey/Syria earthquake relief efforts. They only started accepting donations a few days ago and there's already an incredible turnout.
Thank you to everyone who supported Timepiece Caravan. Your support allowed us to donate about 100 brand new pairs of fleece lined jeans and a handful of hoodie jackets.
If you're local to Holmdel and want to help, check the post on for details.
Happy new year watch fam!

βοΈWinter is comingπ¬
Name a better looking companion than the for winter.
Ice blue textured dial, polished case, and movement.
This one is NIB and available to be added to your collection today!
π₯In my opinion, one of the hottest DJ41 combos π₯
Flutted bezel, jubilee bracelet, and blue stick dial. π₯°
This is the improved, new version of the reference number #126334.
Reach out if you're interested in adding this piece to your collection!
Who does it better? π¨π or π―π΅
Sheesh man. This one is tough. Hands down the finishing on the takes the cake. But the jubilee bracelet on the Rolex is really enjoyable on the wrist. The dials are both beautiful in their own right, although the textured Soko Frost dial on the GS is more interesting. Plus the Hi-Beat movement on the GS is also very impressive. Also the case is *insert chef kisses with noise*.
Well. I think it's obvious which I would pick... What about you?
Both the #126334 blue stick dial and the are available! DM me if you're interested π¨
This review is back from the beginning of the year, so excuse the 2022 reference. π
Feel free to reach out if you're looking for your next piece!

Do you prefer Submariners with a date or without? π«
the simplicity of the no date dial is actually really appealing for its symmetry and simplicity. But on the other hand, the date complication is definitely handy. Plus, cyclops date magnifiers are the hallmark of modern subs. Hmmm. π€
I'm not sure on this one. Thoughts?

The Grand Seiko that started it all for me. πΈ

We hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July weekend!
The dial on the SBGA415 represents the Taisetsu, or deep snow, found in Japan during winter.

Details details details. Nothing to hide on Grand Seiko dials. Actually, the more you zoom in the better it gets.
Something about Japanese engineering.
No corners cut. Everything is intentional.
Aren't all quartz "high accuracy"?
No. Standard quartz watches are accurate to about +-15 seconds/month. The Grand Seiko 9F83 quartz movement found in this SBGP001 is accurate to +-10 seconds/YEAR.
Yeah... 10 seconds a year. It's also finished better than a lot of mass produced Swiss movements.
Double stamped dials or modern? What's your preference?
Ever wondered why some Grand Seikos have a "SEIKO" logo on top of the dial? These watches were produced during the period where Grand Seiko was a premium collection within the Seiko brand. Eventually Seiko made the decision to break off Grand Seiko into its own independent brand. These watches were still crafted to the same standards as modern Grand Seikos.
A lot of collectors love the retro look of "double stamped" dials. I think they're pretty cool. This reference number is the SBGE001. If you want to see what the modern version of this watch looks like, look up the SBGE201.
The SBGA285 is a perfect introduction to the Grand Seiko brand. Classic case dimensions, spring drive technology, comfortable bracelet and a timeless dial.
This one is in route to its new owner but I'm hoping to have another in stock soon!
What watch got you hooked?
For me it was the Grand Seiko SBGA413 AKA the Cherry Blossom. When I saw photos and videos of this watch I instantly fell for it.
I think it was the subtleness of the textured blush pink dial along with the level of finished that originally got me interested. Then I learned about Spring Drive and how impressive the technology is. Fast forward a couple years, and my love for this reference hasn't faded.
I mean. In respect to dollar for dollar value - It just doesn't get better than this.
The is a perfect, enjoyable and budget friendly daily. You're getting a hand finished and hand assembled watch with an unheard-of level of accuracy.
I find myself looking down at this often to watch the seconds hand hitting each index perfectly.
When I'm in front of a computer I check the accuracy just because - and it's always spot on.
This watch along with many others are available. DM with any inquiries π©
What do you think about the ?
You get a movement that's accurate to +-10 seconds a year with a 50 year service interval. 50 years... This is a lifetime watch for sure.
Hand finished case, indices, and hands set on a beautiful sunburst champagne color dial. Retro Seiko stamp on top with the logo at the bottom.
This is my first time having a quartz GS and I have to say, I understand why they're desirable.
This particular watch is available for sale. DM for more info π©

What do you think of the yellow crown and green logo on the #116900?
People either love it or hate it. I personally think it's refreshingly unique.
