🍻👉 FIRST IMPRESSION : Poor Timing! We arrived on a Friday night and were told by the host that they were regrettably on an hour wait, and the kitchen would then be closed. Couldn't be accomodated that evening but were told to return the following day for an optimal experience. (Sure glad we did!)
🍻👉👉 ATMOSPHERE : Outstanding modern industrial-nautical concept throughtout, very appropriately embracing its locality. One of a kind indoor/outdoor bar ensuring the wonderous Canadaigua Lake views can be seen from any of the 4 seating areas inside, as well as the dockside patio outside.
🍻👉👉👉 SERVICE : Enthusiastically accomodating! Our server was as bubbly as our local beverage selections, and couldnt wait to show us the beauty of the establishment in its entirety. We were initially a bit reserved about walking around to take photos and she encouraged us to get up out of our seats!
🍻👉👉👉👉 MENU : Designed with simplicity, both in format and dish selection making it easy to read and order accordingly. Personally, we would have liked to see another seafood entree option based on the location, but being a "Pizza & Wine Bar" made the menu appropriate regardless. Also happy to see the partnership with as we absolutley love and they are a Canandaigua favorite.
🍻👉👉👉👉👉 FOOD : Nailed the complex flavors on classic pizza and dockside dishes! We ordered the classic pepperoni and the Mahi Mahi sandwich (pictured in video close). The pizza did not disappoint with its obvious handmade ingrediants and the blacked fish was like fireworks on my flavor palate. SUGGESTION : Compose the fish in a taco or smaller bite form. The king-sized sandwich as a whole was impossible to take a bite out of and the coleslaw dressing had saturated the bottom bun to the point where it was disintegrating onto my hands. I then decided to fork and knife it which led to consumption of the checkered parchment paper that had married the moisture of the bottom bun.
👍👍 OVERALL : A comfortable and enjoyable experience that we will repeat over and over again!
