Friday November 10

Kipling Minor Hockey will have the kitchen open during the tournament and beer gardens will be open

Saturday 11:30am - 1:00am
There will also be a silent auction running both days with some great items so be sure to stop by and check them out!
Setup for the Cold Start Classic is almost complete! We’ve had some great donations from local businesses for silent auction, so be sure to head on down to the arena today and check it out! Maybe you could check off a couple Christmas presents early and support the tournament in the process.
TOURNAMENT RULES
Leave Refs alone neither they nor us are pros.
Harassing the Refs, no matter how bad the call is perceived can result in expulsion from the Tournament.
Games are two straight time 25-minute periods with a 5 minute warm up. Please be on time!
MUST change on the fly in the last 5 minutes of the game.
NO slap shots or body contact.
Any fighting, hacking or rough play may result in expulsion from the tournament.
All penalties are automatic penalty shots. Penalty shots will be taken at the end of each game.
If game is tied there will be a 3 man shootout to determine the winner. If still tied, sudden death shootout. Can only shoot once.
Winning team please mark score on score sheet in Lobby.
Top 8 teams advance to playoffs. If tie breaker is required, we follow SHA tournament rules
- Best record in game played between teams
- Best goals for/goals against
- Coin toss
Referee in chief is Aaron Roth. If you have any questions please ask him. His decision is final.
Please clean up dressing room after every game.
You are only allowed to play on one team.

** Playoff structure may be modified to suit out of town teams that don't have regular games on Saturday.
