My name is Laci Ferno (Laci Ferno ) and I am a 16 year old dirt racer from NC. Heart disease runs in my family and has impacted my life in a big way. I’ll forever remember the day my dad’s heart stopped. He was only 44. He went into cardiac arrest from a widow maker. Thankfully my dad’s life was saved but that day forever changed our family. Ever since then I have wanted to do something like this. RIPPIN’ FOR A CURE’s mission is to help raise awareness for heart disease in both the racing community and the community around us.
