These handmade dolls are made by a group of ladies from “Shogh” center in Artsakh. Nour Hengalov Hats is privileged to support this beautiful project by sending means to make and helping them to sell these dolls.
“Shogh” center is one of the projects of Armenian Missionary Association of America.
The center has teachers, social workers, phycologists, coaches who help underprivileged children and women by providing them skills and means to succeed in life.
One of the projects of the “Shogh” center is a doll making group/class where underprivileged women are taught to make dolls and sell them. 100% of the proceeds are given back to these ladies, so that they can support their families.
Before the war in 2020 these dolls were sold to tourist, unfortunately tourists don’t visit Artsakh anymore, for safety reasons.
Let’s support these women, by buying these dolls. Each one of them is unique just like us and would make a wonderful gift to kids, grandkids, family and friends. When you get it, let it be a reminder for you to pray for Artsakh and Armenia every time you look at them. All of the dolls are sold out. Thank you all for your support. Each doll is $20. This young boy is from the village Drakhtik, in Hadrout . His family lost their home and everything they had during the 44 day war. The initial cause of starting the Nour Jengalov Hatc was to help people of Artsakh in any way we can. We are so glad that we can help this family with a monetary donation.His family is renting a place and hopes that one day they’ll have a place of their own to call home . We can’t believe a year has past since the start of the 44 day war in Artsakh. There isn’t a day that passed by in this one year, that we didn’t think of families who lost their loved ones: moms who lost their 18 year old sons, kids who lost their dads, wives who lost their husbands and sisters who lost their brothers; families who became homeless. Our tears rolled, our heart ached and our soul felt crushed. Our human nature was demanding revenge, but our spirit whispered that the biggest revenge is to continue to live and believe .We chose that. Live my Artsakh and continue to believe ❤️💙🧡 Ruzanna and I are Artsakhitsis , we couldn’t seat still and we used our abilities to help. During the war time a group of girls initiated to bake jengalov hatc and support our Artsakh .hakobyan , ,Tikin Tamara, Karine . Greens were donated by Narine Galstyan .g . This was the beginning of our Nour jengalov hatc story. We pray that from now on, our Artsakh and Armenia will live in peace and prosper 🙏🏻
