Dan Dry last night continued his great start to the season with another win for FitPRO Racing.
Dan finishing first in the SACA Salt Ayre Series in Lancaster.

Last weekend saw 3 of our riders start their season:

Sam Ingle
All ventured over to Carlisle for a gruelling 3 stages in ONE DAY race!
1) 7 Mile team time trial
2) 53 Mile road race
3) 1 hour + 5 laps crit
A respectful 11th position for the FitPRO team in the TTT folowed by a fantastic performance in the road race with Sam finishing in 5th place in a strong field.
The crit again saw Sam amongst the points in 4th position out of 45 with new rider Dan Dry putting in an exceptionally strong ride to take the win π₯
Overall Dan finishing in 4th place with Sam in 8th and Chris is 29th.
A fantastic effort from the lads and a great start to the 2019 season!

22yr old medical student Dan Dry.
Dan only started racing seriously recently and had a great debut season gaining his 2nd cat license, Picking up 3 Crit wins, 2 podiums and a Road Race win at Aughton.
Dan is hoping to pick up where he left off with a successful 2019 season and we look forward to seeing him in BodyTORQ racing colours and helping him achieve his seasons goals.

A great day of racing up at Salt Ayre today for our final race of the series, today was extra emotional but a fitting tribute to the late Rick Taylor, black armbands worn in respect and a spot prize for most aggressive rider was also added in his honour...Just how he would have wanted it! πͺπΌ
Great work and well done to everyone who raced today and in any of our 5 races throughout the summer.
Hopefully we will see you again next year for more of the same!

Fantastic 8th place for another of our youngsters Andrew Hathaway in the West penine 10 mile TT.
Early days for Andrew only just starting his season but hoping to build on last years successful campaign. πͺπΌ

Great ride from our youngest road team member Sam Ingle this week at the second round of the Chevin cycle road race series.
The race came together in the later stages with Sam holding on to 8th place in the bunch gallop.
Sam is showing fantastic promise in his first season for the team and is one to watch out for over the coming years, especially in some of the more hilly races.
We are holding 4 events again this year, the first of which is 26th of May.
There will be a women's race, a men's 3/4 and a national b E/1/2/3
Online entry will shut a few days before the event to allow us to get the start sheets printed so don't miss out on the discounted online entry fees.
