We are excited to be working as the curators for Storefront Manitoba's Winnipeg Design Festival 2024! WDF celebrates and promotes contemporary design and art in Winnipeg, and this year our theme is UNDER PRESSURE: climate-conscious design + build, envisioning the future of Winnipeg 150 years from now. The festival, running throughout September 2024, will include a series of workshops, tours, installations, and public events for all ages including opportunities to participate in the construction of a 3D map of our dream city.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported La Société historique métisse and this inaugural paddle event on the Seine River. It felt really special to see so many smiling faces in canoes, kayaks, and on SUPs enjoying our beautiful waterway. We hope this is the first of many!

Manitoba's first ever straw sculpture symposium at Holiday Alley was a huge success! 🔥 Stay tuned for more details on when the sculpture will be lit up in flames🔥. So grateful we got to be a part of coordinating this truly unique collaboration with Lithuanian artist Vytautas Musteikis and Chris Pancoe of Anvil Tree.

Wow! Our faces say it all. We are so excited and honoured to be the recipient of the 2022 Small Business of the Year award from Travel Manitoba and Tourism Winnipeg.
Huge congrats to all of the other nominees and recipients, and a special shoutout to Holiday Alley, an amazing event we help coordinate, on winning Event of the Year!

We've been dreaming up an event for one of our clients, and are happy to say that this dream is coming to life! Holiday Alley will be hosting Manitoba's first ever International Straw Sculpture Symposium (in partnership with Sputnik Architecture and Anvil Tree), in Selkirk from November 16-18, 2023.

A brand new sculpture made of straw that will be lit ablaze this winter - we'll keep you posted on how to check it out!

Brittany Appreciation Post! ❤️
Brittany was Fete Jockey's Event Manager and Business Assistant for nearly 5 years. She was with us when this company was a fledgling, and she helped us get to where we are now. Brittany has moved into an exciting new position at the ideaMILL Makerspace at the Millenium Library, and we are sure she's absolutely crushing it.
Brittany will moonlight as FJ's contract on-site stage manager and weddings coordinator, but we'll miss her in the office every day!
