Today we’re feeling immensely grateful for the Speedland community. The GS:PDX was the biggest product launch in our short history as a brand — already sold out of several sizes.

We’re elbow deep in packaging materials, fulfilling orders as quickly as possible. Keep an eye on your email for shipping notifications. 🙏

It’s back to the future with our latest commission — the GS:PDX! Launching on Monday, the GS:PDX is an homage to our original product, the SL:PDX, built on our GS platform.

In contrast to our previous commission, there will be no pre-sale. We will begin shipping orders immediately as they come in.

We’ve been getting lots of questions about restocks of previous commissions so we wanted to remind everyone, SPEEDLAND DOES NOT DO RESTOCKS. Once the product sells out, it’s gone for good. We anticipate our inventory to move quickly, so make sure you visit the site on Monday to secure your sizing. We’ll also have demo pairs and product to purchase at during packet pickup for The Big Alta next week.

As a Portland, OR based brand, we’re so excited to return to our roots with this product. We know you’ll love it.

Emerging into a new year with our sights set forward, we’re also celebrating how far we’ve come. In 2023, only Speedland’s second full year in business, we managed some great things together.

Here are a few things we’re proud of:

That’s the rallying cry for The Bay Bandits (), a run crew in the SF Bay Area. Co-founded and led by Speedland athlete , the Bandits convene twice weekly group runs that gather 50+ athletes of all levels.

Shoutout to who is currently over 3 days into an FKT attempt on the Arizona Trail.

Beginning at the southern terminus and heading north to the Utah border, Mike hopes to be the first person to cover this 800+ mile journey in under 13 days.

We view this as the ultimate test of our GS platform and we’re honored to support Mike in this huge undertaking. He’s just getting warmed up.

Part of creating the best possible product is engaging with the right partners. When it comes to footwear tech and fit systems, is the gold standard. We use the BOA Li2 dials on all our footwear commissions, with the ability to tighten or loosen the desired fit with a simple turn of the dial.

What we’ve heard from our athletes and our customers is that this makes a big difference — especially when deep in an ultramarathon when they’re experiencing foot swelling and need some relief. It may sound like a minor application, but it’s the little things that matter when we’re trying to reach our potential.
