Busy day with the kitchen remodel and picking some long squash. Took down the existing cabinets and placed the new ones. Next, fill in the grain, sand, prime, and paint. Yes, that is a dryer in place of the stove… for now… lol….
With the wood shop lay down yard almost setup and some slabs delivered to the new location we almost ready to start back slabbing and kilning. Almost there! Stand by for the future progress posts.
Insulated kiln leveled! Now to add fans, dehumidifier, and sliding racks. Can’t wait to start cooking some wood!
Today with the help of Kamaaina Crane Services we were able to recover over 8 monkeypod longs ranging from 13ft to over 18ft long, 28” to 40” round with a combined weight of over 25,000lbs. Time to get slabbin!
Log stands are ready for my monkey pod log pickup later this week. These stands keeps the logs off the ground, makes it easy to grab with my forks and light weight so I can move where needed. # woodworkerhawaii

Getting the road to the Anykine Woodcraft lay down yard prepped and gravel compacted. The lay down yard will house the sawmill and new kiln. Almost there, tomorrow the finishing touches and than onto the lay down yard.
