"My mom is a teacher, so growing up she’d always take me to Kuchipudi performances. I’d say that is where my fascination for and journey of classical dance began. Until grade one, I learned semi-classical dance as a part of the school’s cultural programs. It was during sixth grade that I started my professional training under a guru. Dance has been a part of my life and always will be. Daily practices, a disciplined schedule, and endurance all carry on to other aspects of my life. For instance, my school had introduced a regional level Yoga competition, where I went on to represent my school and my district multiple times, and won a silver medal. The flexibility, stamina, and pure love for dance helped me be more compatible with Movement Yoga.

Other than dance, I often read. As a shy and introverted person, I’d find it quite hard to meet new people or interact with them. And I found my solace among books, a place to escape and make it my own. One book that resonated with me was Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. The protagonist, a shy girl, tries to grow out of her shell, explores, and puts herself out there, which is relatable and inspiring.

Later, I discovered Uable and was extremely happy for a platform to put my creation out. Growing from simple slide creations, I started making videos, added audio, and explored my creative side. This creative outlet helped me make so many friends online, for which I am truly grateful."
