This weekend brought me to Louisville for the Kentucky Colonels homecoming. Market Street is one of my favorite places to browse and I was so excited to see the amazing founder and owner herself at her shop!! 🤩 I needed a hug from this girl more than she knew. It’s been a hard week for women. I love this human being and all she stands for. WOW stands for Women Owned Wallet, and she has made it her mission to put money in the pockets of women! Please follow! 🙋‍♀️I will certainly be purchasing a lot of my Christmas gifts this year from their website. Amanda, keep fighting the good fight. I am right here with you. 💗 OH! And she had a pen at the desk!!! ✨💕✨💕

Happy National Mushroom Day! 🍄 I am absolutely fascinated with Mycelium, the hidden network beneath the forest! 🌿 We don't even realize how mushrooms unite different species, including humans, in many ways. This is a great reminder of how we all should help one another connect and grow together, building a world where everyone thrives.

Not only does their networking and magic impress me, but I also love to eat them! Are you a mushroom person or not? If so, what's your favorite?

It's Women's Equality Day! I recently attended the Women Leading Kentucky Silver Soiree. Awards were given, and one in particular was to Jim Frazier. I appreciate what he said...and that is the message I'll put out today: "Women have to work twice as hard and twice as long to get at a table where I was given a seat. I appreciate the recognition, but I hope and pray that some day, this will not be a necessary award because it’s going to be just who we are."

Do you ever ask yourself, "How am I an expert? What do I do best?" only to be overwhelmed with the thought of not good enough or too much?

This affirmation has helped me when my mind gets in that rut. We can be multi-passionate and also not be the best experts at all things. Instead of constantly focusing on being better, how about relishing in the fact you are continually evolving? Be an evolving version of you. Give yourself permission to be the best YOU that you can be.
